I must admit that when I heard that we were supposed to keep a blog for this class. I was really nervous. Instantly, I thought of myspace.com. I did not want to be addicted to my blog like some of my friends are. So I looked up blog in the dictionary since it was recently added. Webster defines a blog as a Web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections. Really blogging is no different from keeping a diary. I have been keeping a diary since elementary school, but I don’t understand why what is going on in my personal life would be of interest to someone else. For example, when reading about Attorney Ernie, I have no interest in reading about his family being stuck at the airport during the Christmas holidays. I would rather lie in the bed and read a good book not a short excerpt about his child building a snowman in Louisiana. I guess I feel that I should not read it because it is not adding in value to my life. However blogging from a business standpoint makes more since to me because it allows for companies to get immediate feedback on products and services that are provided to their customers.
